Our optometrist is accredited for the following:

• Cataract Direct Referral: This service is provided for patients with signs and/or symptoms of cataract in either eye. A cataract is usually an age related haziness in the natual lens of the eye. Cataracts can develop earlier in life if the eye experiences trauma, following an eye operation or as a result of general health conditions such as Diabetes. Clare is also accredited in Cataract Referral Refinement.

• Minor Eye Conditions Services (MECS) This service covers a range of conditions including; Foreign body in the eye, Dry Eye, irritation or inflammation of the eye, Recent and sudden loss of vision. For further information about this service please contact us or visit us in practice.
